The Energy Efficiency Utility Program helps residents throughout Vermont access energy efficiency services, rebates, and incentives.
The Public Utility Commission has appointed the following three organizations to deliver these programs:
Efficiency Vermont - delivers energy efficiency services throughout most of the state.
City of Burlington Electric Department (BED) - provides energy efficiency services in its service territory.
Vermont Gas Systems, Inc. (VGS) - provides natural gas energy efficiency services in its service territory.

There are many financial tools available to Vermont residents to help them finance heating and home efficiency upgrades, E Bikes, or EVs. Program features discounted interest rates on energy efficiency projects and purchases, based on household income.

WAPs may include a "whole house" energy assessment, state-of-the-art building diagnostics, and full-service" energy-efficient retrofits to reduce drafts, increase insulation, and reduce energy usage.

TECs are volunteer community members who work closely with town officials. They may be part of the town’s planning commission, or the conservation commission. They help with research, energy inventories, community outreach and education, developing the energy chapter of the municipal plan, and guiding clean and sustainable energy strategies. To get involved, or to find your Town Energy Committee contact your town clerk.

Vermont has 17 electric distribution utilities; each has an exclusive service territory. Many of these companies offer incentives, bill credits, rebates and more for low and moderate income Vermonters.
